Wilcox Progressive Era, Thursday, March 5, 1908
Hon Sol. Bloch received a telegram Tuesday announcing the death of Dr. F. M. 
Petersen and left immediately for Greensboro, where the funeral services 
occurred. Mr. Bloch has been one of the trustees of the Alabama Girls 
Industrial School at Montevallo for a number of years and was intimately 
acquainted with Mr. Petersen, who was former president of the institution.
