Rogers. Mr. Andrew J. Rogers died at Darlington, Wilcox County, Ala., on last Friday night, Sept. 29th, 1905. He was sick for nearly two weeks, was taken with yellow chills; had two in quick succession. He partially recovered and was thought to be doing well, but relapsed. Mr. Rogers was a hard working man; had wife and eight small children, a mother and sister dependent upon him. He will be greatly missed by his family. He was ambitious to have his children go to school, took an interest in school matters. He was one of the many who had no school advantages until the new redistricting law put him in reach of a school and he was enjoying it. He was buried on Sabbath in Fatama. Many friends attended the funeral. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/alfiles/ File size: 1.3 Kb
