Wilcox Progressive Era, Thursday, June 30, 1904

Stuart - - McRee
  Mr. J. P. Stuart of Camden and Miss Gertrude McRee of Montgomery were married 
at the home of the bride's parents in that city on the 22nd of June. It was 
rather sudden and none but the immediate family was invited. They received 
several very handsome presents. This week they have gone to Richmond, Ala., to 
visit Mr. Stuart's parents, after which they will be at home at Miss Sallie 
Jones' place in Camden to their friends.
  May those joys that attend usually happy marriages be their's through life 
and their future be attended only by such brightness as is gladdened by love's 
purest and noblest thoughts.
