Rev. R. L. Robinson officiated, and about twenty-five guests were present. The hour was "High Noon." Messrs. Thos. McMillan and Howell Turner held the ribbons and the Misses Lillie Chisolm, Bessie Farish and Pattie Cannon preceded the bride as her angelic guards on the happy occasion. The bride and the attending young ladies were all handsomely and becomingly gowned for the hour and the high contracting parties stood under a large bell of evergreens suspended from the ceiling of the parlor. The words of the minister were tender and true to the obligations of the marriage now and friends extended warm congratulations and sweet hopes for the health, happiness and friends. The table for presents was ladened with choice, elegant gifts from friends far and near. The Progressive Era joins in congratulations and good wishes, that is culmination of a romance in college life, may continue to ripen in all that is beatific in real life.
