Miss Minnie B. Sharpe and Mr. M. B. Hays were united in marriage Wednesday, Nov. 6th, at 1 o'clock p. m., at the Baptist church near Asabel, the Rev. A. J. Gross officiating in his usual happy manner. The church was beautifully and tastefully decorated by the friends of the bride who was beautifully dressed in white silk. The bride is a very popular young woman and the daughter of the late John Sharpe. The groom is the youngest son of the late W. L. Hays, Superintendent of Education of this county, and engaged in the mercantile business at Flatwood where they will make their home. An elegant reception was held at the home of the bride after the ceremony, and the happy couple were the recipients of many hearty good wishes.
