Wilcox Progressive Era, Thursday, December 5, 1907
Wedding at Tinela.
  At seven-thirty o'clock of Wednesday evening, November the twenty-seventh, in 
the Presbyterian Church, at Tinela, a beautiful wedding was solemnized. The 
contracting parties were Miss Robbie Bigger and Mr. H. Alexander Hayles. The 
bride was one of the most popular young ladies of the town; while the groom is 
a promising young business man of Atmore. The bride was tastefully and 
becomingly dressed in white silk, with the corresponding wedding veil. The 
little ring bearer, little Miss Ruth McCants was the only attendent. Mrs. H. J. 
Savage rendered the music for the evening while Rev. J. W. Killough pronounced 
the words that made them man and wife. The church was beautifully decorated 
with smilax, cedar and chrysanthemums.
