Mr. D. J. McWilliams, a former resident of Oak Hill, who went to Texas several years ago, and who is a brother of our fellow townsmen, W. F. and R. E. McWilliams, was married at Waco recently, and his many former neighbors and friends in Wilcox will be pleased to read the following from the Rochdale, Tex., Reporter: "The many friends of Mrs. Georgia Fulton here have received the information announcing her marriage last Sunday morning, at the Hotel Metropole in Waco, to Mr. D. J. McWilliams of Lott. This lady has more friends, perhaps, than any other lady who ever resided in this place. This news was indeed a surprise to them, but their congratulations are extended nevertheless. Truly Mr. McWilliams has drawn the capital prize in the matrimonial lottery."
