The following wedding invitation has been received here by friends of the contracting parties, who are well known in Wilcox county: Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Johnson invite you to the marriage ceremony of their daughter, Elizabeth, to Mr. James Francis Lathram, on the evening of Tuesday, the ninth of June one thousand nine hundred and eight at nine o'clock, Methodist Episcopal Church, Franklin, Alabama. Wilcox Progressive Era, Thursday, June 18, 1908 Miss Elizabeth Johnson, of Franklin, Monroe county, who has often visited friends here, was married to Mr. J. Francis Lathram, of Waynesboro, Miss., on the 11th at the home of her father, Capt. C. L. Johnson, a prominent steamboat man on the Alabama river.
