Marriage of a Former Camden Girl in Birmingham. Miss Stella Boyd Spiva, the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. D. H. Spiva, former residents of Camden and well known here, was married to Mr. Mims Davis on the 27th inst., at the home of the bride's parents in Birmingham. The Birmingham Ledger in an account of the wedding says: "The house was beautifully decorated with white carnations, palms and ferns. Miss Spiva looked charming in a handsome gown of blue Rajah silk with a becoming hat matching her costume. She carried a small Bible bound in white and her bouquet was a shower of lilies of the valley. She was given away by her father. Mrs. E. O. Jones of Dothan, a sister of the bride, was matron of honor and was beautifully gowned in white and carried pink roses. Mr. W. D. Davis of Prattville, was his brother's best man. Among the out-of-town guests at the wedding were Dr. and Mrs. J. McDonald and Miss McDonald of Marion Junction, and Miss Lillie McBryde of Oak Hill. Mr. Davis and his bride have gone on a wedding journey and will not return until late in November."
