Wilcox Progressive Era, Thursday, December 10, 1908
Mrs. Buford Farish announces the engagement and approaching marriage of her 
daughter, Ellie McMurphy, to Mr. George Markham March, of Mobile. There will be 
no invitations issued. The ceremony will be quietly solemnized at 10:30 a.m., 
Dec 22d, at the home of the bride's mother, at Tinela, Ala. Only members of the 
family will be present.
