We wish for this young couple a long life of health and happiness, full of all its joys and pleasures that the future promises to young people who start on life's journey amid seasons of sunshine and gladness, may never future shadow darken the brightness of today. Miss West spent two seasons in Camden and made many friends during her stay, and the groom-to-be, Mr. Walter Spurlin is one of Camden's enterprising business men, and is possessed of many fine traits of character that makes him a general favorite in Camden. May his shadow never grow less. Additional Comments: Microfilm newspaper (Wilcox Progressive Era) located at the Alabama Department of Archives and History, Montgomery, Alabama.
