Wilcox Progressive Era, Thursday, June 28, 1906
Married in Furman.
  Miss Rachael Brown of Furman, and Mr. E. Roberts, of Meridian, Miss., 
were married at the home of the young lady's parents at Furman 
yesterday afternoon. The bride is a most charming and gifted young 
woman, while the groom is a well known young business man of Meridian. 
Mr. and Mrs, Roberts reached Selma last night and this morning left for 
Meridian, where they will make their future home.
