Wilcox Progressive Era, Thursday, September 26, 1907
Mobile Register, Sept. 27th -
On Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the home of the bride's father, Mr. 
Knox, of Shipman, a prominent and popular railroad official, Miss Carrie Byrd 
Knox was married to Dr. John Fail, of Georgiana, in the presence of near 
relatives and a few friends; Rev. L. M. Stone, of Georgiana, performing the 
ceremony. (Dr. John Fail is the son of the late Mr. John Fail, and has many 
friends in Camden, who extend congratulations on the happy event.)
