Being in good health and in my real-sound mind doth will and bequeath all my property as here in after stated. I do hereby bequeath to my beloved wife Jane Davis all and singular the eighty acres of land on which I now live with the improvements thereon and I do will and bequeath unto my wife Jane Davis two negros to wit George a negro man & Lusi negro woman together with all the household and kitchen furniture and two horses and six cows & calves and one half of my stock of hogs together with my crop of corn or the grain and one third of all of the cotton crop growing - to have and to hold in her peaceable possession. I do hereby will and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Sarah Ann Davis and also my beloved daughter Martha Jane Davis the two eighty acres of land lying east of the eighty that I have willed to my beloved wife. The two eighties to be so divided between my two daughters, to be in equal in quality and quantity as near as can be. I do hereby give to my daughter Sarah Ann Davis my negro child Nance latest child of Lusi. I do hereby give to my daughter Martha Jane Davis my negro boy Abe second child of Lusi. I do hereby will and bequeath unto me beloved Andrew Jackson Davis the east half of the north east quarter section 9 Township 10 Range 8 containing 73 702/100 - south west of the south east quarter section 4 Township 10 Range 8 41 32/100 acres also enter the broken forty acres remaining to be included in his part of the land also I do will and bequeath unto my son Andrew Jackson Davis my negro boy Sol third child of Lusi. I do hereby will and bequeath unto my son James Thomas Davis one horse saddle and bridle to be worth one hundred and fifty dollars also be furnished with money enough to enter eighty acres of land at government price - also the remaining part of my property. Remains undispersed of together with bonds notes book account and money in hand also my forty acres of land described as follows - south east quarter north west quarter section 5 Township 10 Range 8 containing 41 13/100 acres - south west of south east quarter of section 32 Township 11 Range 8 containing 40 9/100 acres. These lands as above described are not given in my will and not given to any one - to be sold to the highest bidder with all my remaining property not otherwise disposed of by me on my last will and testament and all the proceeds after my lawful debts are paid to be equally divided between my three youngest children to wit - Sarah Ann Davis, Martha Jane Davis, and Andrew Jackson Davis - This second day of July of the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and forty one - I acknowledge this to be my last will and testament.
