DeWitt [Ark.] Era-Enterprise, Thursday, Oct. 16, 1975

Mrs. Ruth Pittman Simpson, 72, of DeWitt, an employee of DeWitt City
Hospital, died Monday.
She was native of Indiana and was a member of Prairie Union-Deluce
Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Harvey Simpson; four sons, Rev. William
Simpson of Texas, Garland, Donal and Bobby Joe Simpson, all of DeWitt;
two daughters, Mrs. Mary Katheryn Ruffin and Mrs Marjorie Criswell,
both of DeWitt; a sister Mrs. Lucille McLain of DeWitt; 15 grandchildren
and 5 greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Unity Baptist
Church in DeWitt. Burial was in DeWitt Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home.
