DeWitt [Ark.] Era-Enterprise, Thursday, Mar. 12, 1981

J. Wes White, 88, of DeWitt, was born June 23, 1892, and died March
7, 1981, at the DeWitt City Hospital. He was a Deacon of Landmark
Baptist Church of Dewitt.
He is survived by one son, T.W. &quot;Bucky&quot; White of Dewitt;
one daughter, Delma Stroh of Rosewood; one brother, Virgil White of
DeWitt; four sisters, Ethel Stevens of Little Rock, Fannie Huckaby,
Hettie Austin and Nona Huckaby all of DeWitt; eight grandchildren;
17 greatgrandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bash Vaughn White; one daughter,
Hazel Irene White; and one son, C. W. White.
Funeral was held March 9, at 2:00 p.m. at Landmark Baptist Church
of DeWitt.
Memorials may be given to Landmark Baptist Church or DeWitt City Hospital.
