Earnest I. Watkins, 68, of DeWitt died March 18. He was a
retired farmer and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs Pauline Thigpen Watkins; a son, Mickey
Watkins of Pine Bluff; two daughters, Mrs. Roy D. Bennett of DeWitt
and Mrs. Pat Moody of Crossett; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Vaughn and
Mrs. Ella Cox, both of DeWitt, five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services were Saturday at Sunny Side Baptist Church near DeWitt.
Burial was in DeWitt Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home.
