ELESTER BROWN

  Funeral services for Elester Brown, 81, of Wilmot were held Thursday, July 10, 
at 11 a.m. at Second Baptist Church in Wilmot with the Rev. L. M. Christian 
officiating. Burial was at the Second Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction 
of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.
  Mr. Brown died Thursday, July 3, at Ashley County Convalescent Center in Wilmot.
  He was a native of Farmerville, La. and a resident of Wilmot for several years.  
He was a retired farm laborer and a member of Second Baptist Church.
  Survivors include his wife, Della Brown; one son, Robert Morrison of Kansas City, 
Mo.; one step-son, A.J. Jones of Bastrop, La.; one brother, Curtis Brown of 
Pasadena, Calif.; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
  He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
  Pallbearers were the deacons of Second Baptist Church.
