JAMES COLLINS

  Funeral services for James Earl Collins, 26, of Hamburg will be held
Saturday, July 5, at 11 a.m. at Soldiers Chapel A.M.E. Church with Mary D.
Arnold officiating.  Burial will be at Phillip Grove Cemetery under the
direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.
  Mr. Collins died Saturday, June 28, in Hamburg.
  He was a native of Ashley County and an employee of Hamburg Leisure
Lodge.
  Survivors include one son, James Earl Collins Jr.; one daughter, Jalessa
Nicole Collins; mother, Bessie Lou Collins, all of Detroit; father, Frazier
Johnson of Bastrop, La.; four brothers, Frazier Johnson Jr. of China, Bobby
Lee Collis and Richard Lemont Collins, both of Detroit, and Joe L. Johnson
of Little Rock; six sisters, Joyce Collins of Detroit, Pamela M. Collins of
Little Rock, Marthella D. Johnson of Hamburg and Chrissy Johnson, Wanda
Faye Johnson and Chanel Lee Johnson, all of Bastrop; and grandmother, Lele
Mae Mays of Bastrop.
  Brothers will serve as pallbearers.
