Mr. Green died Friday, June 27, at his residence. He was a native of Star City, a retiree of Georgia-Pacific Bag Mill and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a member of the Arkansas Chapter No. 47 VFW and a World War II veteran. Survivors include his wife, Marnell Edmonds Green; one son, Carl Delmon Green; one daughter, Gail Jeffers of Hamburg; one brother, Enoch Green of Mesa, Ariz., and three grandchildren, Matthew Jeffers, Rachel and Desiree. He was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Penner; and a brother, A.B. Green. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
