Burial was at Hamburg Cemetery. Mrs. Haney died Tuesday, June 17 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. She was a native of Ashley County, a resident of Crossett for the past 18 years and a resident of Hamburg for most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Billy Joe Haney of Crossett and Don Haney, of Milam, Texas; one sister, Alta Kelley of Hamburg; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Haney; and one son, Charles. Pallbearers were Doyle Sivils, F.E. McCone, Jr., Mark Turner, and Ray, Jody and Lynn Haney.
