  Graveside services and interment for Maggie Rose Johnston, 93, of Hamburg
will be held Wednesday, July 2, at 2 p.m., at the Judson Cemetery with the
Rev. Klois Hargis officiating.  Jones Funeral Home of Hamburg is in charge
of arrangments.
  Mrs. Johnston died Sunday, June 29, at Leisure Lodge Nursing Home in
Hamburg.
  She was a native of Kent, Wash., a resident of Hamburg for many years and
a former resident of Monticello.  She was a homemaker.
  Survivors include two sons, Jimmie J. Johnston of Morrilton and Clarence
R. Johnston of Alameda, Calif.; one daughter, Verna Johnston O'Neal of
Hamburg; one half-brother, George W. Howard of Warren; 8 grandchildren, 14
great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Talbot B. Johnston; a son,
Billy Fred Johnston; a granddaughter, Judity Johnston Ferguson; two
brothers and three sisters.
