OBITUARY: The News Observer, Crossett AR, 9 Jan 1975
Calvin Green May, 69, died Jan. 3.  He was a Crossett resident for 47 years, a 
retired extrusion plant employee for Georgia-Pacific, and a member of Magnolia 
Baptist Church.  Survivors include his widow, Eva Sue Hamilton May; two 
daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Dixon and Mrs. Hazel Watson; his mother, Mrs. W. C. 
May; three sisters, Mrs. Raiford Hancock, Mrs. Jack Noble, and Mrs. Jessie 
Jenkins; and four grandchildren.  All are of Crossett.  Funeral was held at 
Magnolia Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Jan. 5, with burial at Crossroads Cemetery.


Additional Comments:
Calvin (Pete) was the son of William Charles "Charley" MAY & Oral Ina BOONE 
MAY. He married Eva Sue HAMILTON on 20 Oct 1935 in Ashley County AR.
