  Funeral services for Andrew Willis "Ray" Reed, 69, of Crossett were held
Saturday, July 5, at 4 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. B.J.
Jackson officiating.  Burial was at Westview Cemetery under the direction
of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.
  Mr. Reed died Wednesday, July 3, at Ashley Memorial Hospital.
  A native of Fowler, La., he was a former Georgia-Pacific Particle Board
employee and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
  Survivors include one daughter, Raye Evelyn Williams of Los Angeles; four
brothers, Herman L. Reed of Monroe, La., and Nathaniel "Beby" Reed, Sherman
"Red" Reed and John Reed, all of Crossett; two sisters, Stella Hill of
Monroe and Ruby Prevard of Chicago; and two grandchildren.
  He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
  Pallbearers were Roger Bryant, Ricky Sims, Thomas Lowe, Roy Langstaff,
Joe Mayfield and Charles Moore.
  Honorary pallbearers were Nathaniel "Beby" Reed, Herman Lee Red, Sherman
"Red" Reed, John "Coupe" Reed and Fred Wimberly.
