STANLEY: At her home in Ashley County, ARKANSAS, Sept. 20, 1897 Mrs. Mary Frances Grant
Stanley wife of Thomas Stanley, age 55 years, 7 months and 20 days. She was an acceptable
member of the Methodist Church and had been from the days of her youth.
    She was sick eleven days and suffered greatly but was perfectly resigned to her
Savior's will. She said she was ready and that the way was bright before her.
    She leaves a husband, one son and five daughters and an aged father and mother
together with many relatives and friends who mourn their loss. Weep and bereaved ones as
those who have no hope for you can meet her in heaven.
