LENA TROTTER

  Funeral services for Lena Mae Trotter, 42, were held Friday, June 27, at
11 a.m. at Emmanuel Church of god in Christ in Hamburg with Bishop Danny
Mays officiating.  Burial was at Phillip Grove Cemetery under the direction
of Jones Funeral Home of Hamburg.
  Mrs. Trotter died Monday, June 23, at Hamburg Leisure Lodge.
  A native of Hamburg, she had been a resident of Monticello for the past
five years and was a former resident of Palm Springs, Calif.  She was a
member of Emmanuel Church of God in Christ in Hamburg and was a homemaker.
  Survivors include one son, Bennie Trotter of Prescott, Ariz., three
daughters, Charlotte Trotter of San Bernadino, Calif., Donna Trotter of
Prescott and Bernetta Trotter of Buena Vista, Ga.; mother, Eula Singleton
Bridges of Crossett; one brother, Levert Franklin of Austin, Texas; one
sister, Camille Stanley of Hamburg; three half-sisters Stacy Banks, Lennie
Johnson and Alberta Franklin, all of California; two grandchildren and a
host of aunts and uncles.
  She was preceded in death by a brother, Martin Franklin.
  Pallbearers were Jessie Chappel, Willie Mays, Jessie Washington, Y.T.
Singleton, Robert Davis and Martin Withers.
  Honorary pallbearers were uncles and nephews.
