All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgenwebarchives.org *********************************************** Sebe Graham is a farmer residing ten miles southeast of Bentonville, Ark., and is a native of the county. born January 24, 1844. His parents, Ellis and Rebecca (Graham) Graham, were born in Kentucky and Illinois, respectively. The former's birth occurred about 1803. He came with his parents to Arkansas when quite young and located on White River. He and wife became the parents of two children: Charity, married to William H. Lewis, a farmer living in Benton County, and Sebe. The latter was reared in his native county, and at the breaking out of the war enlisted in the Confederate army. being then but sixteen years of age. He participated in the battles of Wilson's Creek, Pea Ridge, Prairie Grove. Newtonia and many other engagements of minor importance. After he was honorably discharged at the close of the war he returned home and engaged in farming. and by industry and good management is now the owner of 1,400 acres of land. 1,000 of which is under cultivation. In 1873 he was united in matrimony to Susan E. White, a native of Benton County, Ark., and their union has resulted in the birth of seven children: Albert, Rebecca, Emlis, Joseph, Lucinda A., James Ellis and Millard J.
