Born December 21, 1921 in Mt. Ida, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Virgil Herman Keenom and Gracie Tucker Keenom. She moved from Amarillo, Texas in 1952 and was a nurses’ aid and record keeper for Dr. Walker in Gentry, Arkansas. She was affiliated with the Methodist Church in Decatur, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Duffy. Survivors include one son, Robert Lee Duffy and wife Patty of Rogers, Arkansas; two sisters, Emma Dell Calloway and Maybelle Thomason, both of Amarillo, Texas; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2009, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Arkansas with Mr. David Donnell officiating. Burial will follow at Coffelt Cemetery, near Vaughn, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00, Friday, March 13, 2009, at Wasson Funeral Home.
