T. Webb, died Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at their home near Canuck after a very short illness, the result of pneumonia. Funeral services were held at Pea Ridge at five o'clock Monday afternoon and were conducted at the cemetery by Rev. Gilmore. The family had lived for a long time on White River and at Larue, where Mr. Webb conducted a store. A short time ago he traded his store for the farm of M. H. Pittillo at Canuck and Mrs. Webb was taken ill the night after they moved into their new home. Mrs. Webb, whose maiden name was Mann, was born in this county in April 1868 and had lived here all her life. She leaves a husband and four children to mourn her untimely departure. The deceased was a cousin of J. F. and W. A. Walker and Earle Hardy of this city and a niece of Will Hammock. A sister, Mrs. Nona Holmes of Galconda, Ill., was called here by Mrs. Webb's illness. It was the first time the sisters had seen each other for more than twenty years. Mrs. Webb was very popular and her death is a great blow to the friends and relatives. [Rogers Democrat 2/15/1912]
