(July 31, 1921 - March 18, 2009)

Minnie Ethel Hicks, age 87 of Harrison , Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March
18, 2009 at Hillcrest Home in Harrison .

The daughter of Gus and Myrtle Morgan, she was born July 31, 1921 in Cedar
Glade, Arkansas .

She had lived in the area for twelve years, moving from Jefferson , Texas . She
was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Harrison . She enjoyed poetry,
gardening, quilting, and raising her three children.

She is survived by her husband, Russell V. Hicks of Harrison; her children,
Joseph Hicks of Colorado and Margie Feltman of Jasper, Arkansas; her brothers,
Homer Morgan of Illinois and Raymond Morgan of Texas; her sister, Ethel Wilson
of Texas; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Visitation was Friday, March 20, 2009 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison .
Service was Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the funeral home chapel with Steve
Vicaro officiating.

Burial followed in Carver Cemetery with family and friends serving as
pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Delmar Austin, Kendall Austin, Jerry
Austin, and Joe Austin.
