ARTHUR JACOBS   Arthur Duane Jacobs, 83, Harrison, (Boone County) Ark., died 
Friday, May 8, 2009, in Harrison.  Burial will be at Farewell Cemetery 
(Carroll County).  Arrangements are by Nelson, Berryville, (Carroll County) 
Ark.  He was born Jan. 13, 1926, a son of Cyrus and Ruby Jane Gage Jacobs.  
Surviving are ex-wife, Joyce Dees, Harrison; daughter, Deborah (Floyd) Kellie, 
Harrison; granddaughters, Amber Wade and Iris Church; four great-
grandchildren; brothers, Jack Jacobs, Milan, Fred Jacobs, Coal Valley, and 
William Pouder, Missouri; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and

Additional Comments:
Cyrus & Ruby Gage Jacobs lived in New Boston Township, Mercer County, Illinois 
where Arthur Duane Jacobs was born.  Arthur's grandparents were Andrew & Mary 
B. Tracy Jacobs, and his great-grandparents were Isaac & Lovilla King Jacobs.  
This information on the family can all be traced through the U.S. Federal 
Census Records.  Milan & Coal Valley are towns in Rock Island County, 
Illinois, and the newspaper article was published in that area due to surving 
children (family) still living in Rock Island County.
