Hermitage – Mistle Mae Hollingsworth, 91, of Hermitage, died Tuesday at Wagnon 
Place Nursing Home.  She was born Jan. 20, 1915, at Gravelridge, a daughter of 
the late John Richard Rowell and Mattie Mae Pennington Rowell.  She worked for 
the Hermitage Post office in her early years. She retired as owner/operator of 
Hollingsworth’s Grocery Store after more than 30 years of service.  She was a 
member of Hermitage Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Bradley 
County Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary.  She was also preceded in death on 
Oct. 14, 1983, by her husband, J. L. Hollingsworth, whom she married on Nov. 
2, 1935, one son, Donald Hollingsworth, three brothers, Walter Rowell, Buster 
Rowell and Lester Rowell, and two sisters, Ruby Bambridge and Osie Gates.  
Survivors include one daughter, Merle Neely of Hermitage; four grandchildren; 
and six great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at 
Frazer’s Funeral Home at Warren.  Burial will be in Gravelridge Cemetery.  
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
