Pine Bluff Commercial, Pine Bluff AR, 27 Dec 1963
Warren – Samuel Hollingsworth, 74, of Hermitage died Monday at the Bradley 
County Memorial Hospital.  He was a merchant.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. 
Lettie Hollingsworth of Hermitage: two sons, J. L. Hollingsworth of Hermitage 
and Jack Hollingsworth of Gravel Ridge, three daughters, Mrs. Clifford Powell 
and Mrs. Lucille Brooks, both of El Dorado and Mrs. Gertie Boyette of 
Hermitage; two stepsons, Kenneth Johnson of Pine Bluff and Eugene Johnson of 
Ingalls; two stepdaughters, Jane Johnson and Jeanette Johnson, both of 
Hermitage; a brother, Verner Hollingsworth of Gravel Ridge; four sisters, Mrs. 
___ Langston and Mrs. Laura Reynolds, both of Gravel Ridge and Mrs. Flossie 
Reynolds and Mrs. Lottie Langston, both of Bastrop, Louisiana; 14 
grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  The funeral was Tuesday at the 
Holly Springs Baptist Church at Hermitage by Reverend Carl F. Wheeler and 
Reverend Bobby Meggs.  Burial was at Gravel Ridge Cemetery by Frazer Funeral 
Home.  Pallbearers were Hollis Huitt, Clifton Huitt, Johnny Carr, Troy 
Jackson, Victor Meyers, and J. C. Thompson.
