Pine Bluff Commercial, Pine Bluff AR, 16 Oct 1983
Warren – J. L. Hollingsworth, 66, of Hermitage, died Friday at Bradley County 
Memorial Hospital at Warren.  He was the retired owner of Hollingsworth 
Grocery at Hermitage and a deacon at Hermitage Baptist Church.  Survivors 
include his wife, Mrs. Mistle Powell (sic, Rowell) Hollingsworth; a son, 
Donnie Hollingsworth of Warren; a daughter, Mrs. Merle Harrod of the Ingalls 
community; a brother, Jack Hollingsworth of Hermitage; three sisters, Mrs. 
Gertie Boyette of Gravel Ridge, Mrs. Esteen Powell of Hermitage and Mrs. 
Lucille Brooks of El Dorado, four grandchildren; and three great-
grandchildren.  Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Frazer’s 
Funeral Home of Warren by Reverend Terrell Wallace.  Burial will be in Gravel 
Ridge Cemetery.
