All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** Frances Attwood Hopson Frances Attwood Hopson, age 93, of New Edinburg, died, Friday, March 9, 2007 at Bradley County Medical Center in Warren. She was born November 6, 1913 in New Edinburg, a daughter of the late C.B. and Pearl Daniel Attwood. Mrs. Hopson was a homemaker and a life long member of First Baptist Church of New Edinburg. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hopson, on October 31, 1996; two brothers, Jack Attwood and Breck Attwood; one sister, Mary A. Stuckey. Mrs. Hopson is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Jack Hopson, Jim and Helen Hopson all of Rison; three grandchildren, Cliff Hopson, Rebecca Hamilton and Chris Hopson; seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services are 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2007 at First Baptist Church in New Edinburg with Brother Tony Atkins and Brother A.D. Livingston officiating. Burial will follow in the Free House Cemetery near New Edinburg. Visitation will be Saturday, March 10, 2007 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
