Pine Bluff Commercial, Pine Bluff AR, 24 May 1979
Warren – Jonathan Wylie Rowell, 80, of Warren, died Tuesday at Bradley County 
Memorial Hospital here. He was a retired welder. He had served in the Army 
during World War II.  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mabel Elizabeth 
Campbell Rowell; three daughters, Mrs. Erma Garrison and Ms. Jerrye Sipes of 
Crossett and Mrs. Anna Cole of Houston; a sister, Mrs. Claudie Carroll of 
Bastrop, Louisiana; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.  Funeral 
services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at the Westside Baptist Church here 
by Reverend Harold Richardson.  Burial was to be in Prospect Cemetery near 
here by Frazer Funeral Home of Warren.


Additional Comments:
Jonathan was the son of Felix Samuel ROWELL & Mary Pamelia WAITES. He married 
Mabel Elizabeth CAMPBELL on 15 May 1946 in Drew County AR.
