Pine Bluff Commercial, Pine Bluff AR, 6 May 1988
Warren – Tony Buster Rowell, 86, a retired Potlatch Corporation employee, died 
Wednesday at Bradley County Memorial Hospital here.  Born November 5, 1901, in 
Bradley County, he was a son of John Richard and Mattie Temple Rowell.  He was 
a member of Immanuel Baptist Church here and Hermitage Masonic Lodge 262.  
Survivors include his wife, Agnes Creed Rowell; a daughter, Rosemary Garner of 
Warren, two brothers, Walter Rowell of Wilmer, Alabama, and Lester Rowell of 
Berwin, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Osie Gates and Mistle Hollingsworth, both 
of Hermitage; and two grandsons.  A son, Doyle Bailey Rowell, preceded him in 
death.  Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Frazer’s Funeral 
Home of Warren, with the Rev. Wayman Mann and the Rev. Frank Worley 
officiating.  Burial, with Masonic rites, will be in Oakland Cemetery here.
