Mrs. Myers Dies Thursday Night

Mrs. Zella Myers, aged 86, of Route 2, Newport, died Thursday, June 23, at a 
local hospital. She was a native of Indiana and a member of the Church of 
Christ.

Survivors include six sons, W. J. Myers, Oscar Myers, Ralph Myers, Fred 
Myers, Clay Myers, and Coy Myers all of McCrory; four daughters, Mrs. Cronia 
Pledger of Union Hill, Mrs. John Gaines of St. Louis, Mrs. Rota McDonald of 
Augusta and Mrs. Mary Barnes of Newport; and 33 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Courdneck Church of 
Christ. Burial was at Sand Hill Cemetery at Auvergne by Dillinger Funeral 
Home.
