Services Held Friday For Hosea Woodard 

Funeral services for Hosea Woodard, Sr., a retired farmer of Newport, who 
died June 29 at a Little Rock hospital, were held Friday at 5 p.m. at 
Jacksons' Newport Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. W. E. Davis.

Active pallbearers were Clarence Brand, Oscar Woodard, Marsellus Bennett, J. 
P. Dunahay, Jim Moorehead, Harold Henley, Nathan Bennett and George Woodard 
House.

Honorary pallbearers were Robert Holden, Fred Holden, Robert G. Holden, Joe 
Nuckolls, Bill Nuckolls, Charles Shaver, R. M. Twyford, Ransom Smith, P. L. 
Copeland and Alvis W. Jackson.

Burial was at Gracelawn Cemetery at Tuckerman by Jacksons' Newport Funeral 
Home.
