He was last paid on 28 February 2862 by Maj Thepbald and wsa present. He was captured and sent to Port Hudson Louisiana on 9 July 1863. He was shown on Muster Cards on 19 Otober to December 31 1861 Co E Hills Ret't, January to February 1862 Capt Poyner's Company, May to June 1862 and July to August 1862. On one card it reads that his names appears as "T. W. Chritian" on a list of prisoners at Port Hudson, Louisiana and the he shows being paroled on 9 July 1863 out of Port Hudson, Louisiana. On 5 August 1902 he is shown on a pension application #3256 as T.W. Christian of Yocham, Carroll County. He was approved for $75.00 His Pension Application shows he was served the Confederate States in Regiment 16 of Infantry and wsa discharged after the war in 1865. It also reads that he doesn't have property valued at more than $400.00 and that he doesn't have income more than $150.00 during the year. He is shown to be wounded in the left thigh and disabled due to age. The Drs page reads that he found a scar on teh inner side of the left thigh caused by bruise from a splash ball which was recieved while in battle at Port Hudson Louisiana. Several proof of service statments and a widow's application filed by Mary Ann (Parker) Christian on 5 Oct 1907 Additional Comments: Thomas lived his life out in Carroll County Arkansas in the Yocham, Hickory, and Green Forrest areas. I am not sure that he ever recieved a Military headstone or any other sort of recognition of his military duties and his being wounded in battle.
