Grant Fanning, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas, was born June 30, 1915 in
Berryville, Arkansas, a son of Winfred Asa and Neil (Glaze) Fanning. He departed
this life Wednesday, June 3, 2009 in Berryville, at the age of 93.

Mr. Fanning served in the U. S. Army during WWII. He attended the Assembly of
God Church in Berryville.

He is survived by two daughters, Shirley and husband Jim Humphrey of Dixon, CA,
Claudine and husband Jim Thompson of Dixon, CA; five grandchildren, thirteen
great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, one sister-in-law, Nell Fanning
of Berryville, AR; nineteen nieces and nephews along with a host of friends. On
April 19, 1941 he was united in marriage with Beadie Fanning Drewry.

Grant was preceded in death by his wife, parents, five brothers, and one sister.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A. M. on June 5, 2009 at the Charles M. Nelson
Memorial Chapel with Reverend Keith Butler officiating. Interment will follow in
the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral
