LULA "LU" FERN HOLLAND, a resident of Berryville, AR , was born July 7, 1937 in
Alpena, Arkansas. A daughter of Linsey Booth and Florence Ellen (Victor) Barr.
She departed this life Friday, November 20, 2009 in Springfield, MO at the age
of 72 years.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth L. and wife Karen Holland of Marietta, GA;
one daughter, Delilah and husband Jimmy Paxton of Berryville, AR; four
grandchildren, Rebecca Holland, Amanda Wosotowsky, Leandra Holland, Chrissy
Paxton, one brother, Sammy L. Barr of Berryville, AR; several nieces and
nephews, and a host of family and friends. On October 4, 1955 she was united in
marriage with Billy Gene Holland who preceded her in death. She is also preceded
in death by her parents.

Lou was a devoted Christian woman who spent her life caring for others. She
worked at many occupations but dedicated her life to raising her family and
supporting her husband. She finally retired from the postal department after ten
years to pursue her dream of running a small dairy farm.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7:00 P.M. Monday, November 23, 2009 at the
Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Graveside services will be
10:30 A.M. Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery
with Brother Freddie Blevins and Brother Darryl Harris officiating. Interment
will follow under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service, Inc. Online
