All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ********************************************************** *From Morning News of Northwest Arkansas - Friday Sept. 8, 2006 Dr. Lee Herbert Ives Dr. Lee Herbert Ives, 87, of Rogers died Sept. 6, 2006 at Innisfree Skilled Care Center in Rogers. He was born Feb. 17, 1919 in Edmond, Okla., to the late Fred H. Ives and Letha Meyers Ives. He was a veterinarian in Perry, Iowa from 1950 to 1973 and later worked as a veterinarian for the U. S. Department of Agriculture. He and his wife moved to Arkansas in 1974. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, serving in North Africa. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Isbell Ives of the home; three sons, David B. Ives and wife Nancy of Madison, Wis., Richard L. Ives and wife Chari of Long Beach, Calif., Bruce K. Ives and wife Cam of St. Louis; two daughters, Carol Ann Ives of Minneapolis and Marcia K. Ives of Forth Worth, Texas; nine grandchildren, Michael, Kim, Cindy, Clinton, Keri, Ben, Megan, Barbara and Thomas; five great-grandchildren, Brittany, Rebecca, Zachary, Austin, and Sabrina. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9 at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, online at www.rollins-funeral.com.
