EMMA D. SNOW ONTARIO - Mrs. Emma D. Whiteley-Snow, 83, Willowcreek, Oregon, died Sunday in a LaGrande, Oregon, hospital. She was born January 21, 1883, at Berryville, Arkansas. She lived in Nyssa and Ontario for over 50 years and moved to Willowcreek in 1947. She was married to Joseph B. Snow on March 3, 1907, in Carroll County, Arkansas. He died January 28, 1955. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons: Carl H. Snow of North Hollywood, California, and William A. Snow of Spokane, Washington: Four daughters, Mrs. Lorene Snow-Redsull and Mrs. Bluebelle Snow-Clack, both of Union, Oregon, Mrs. Marie Snow-Kendall of Vale, Oregon, and Mrs Aladene Snow-Coble of Ontario, Oregon: A brother, Clem Whiteley of Berryville, Ark.: 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Bertleson-Lienkaemper Chapel, Ontario, Oregon. Interment will follow at Evergreen. She was my great aunt.
