The Grave Stone of Joseph Easter - Father of Martha Ellen Easter Galyon. This 
was taken at the Old Lodge cemetery.  Judge John Adam Esther was born August 1, 
1827 in Roane Co., Tenn.,the son of Joseph and Mary (Smith) Easter. 
He was a vetran of the War of 1812,was a native of Randolph Co., N.C.
Mary Smith was also a native of N. C. 

 


Additional Comments:
Martha Ellen Easter, the daughter of Joseph Easter and Mary Smith is in this 
census.  She was my g grandmother.
