Bradshaw of Gum Springs Dies Claude W. Bradshaw, aged 63, of Gum Springs, died at his home Wednesday morning. He was a grocer and service station operator and was a member of the Church of Christ in Arkadelphia. He was born in Clark County November 21, 1901, the son of John and Luvicy Harvester Bradshaw. He was married to Evie Ellis on March 24, 1924, and to this union were born nine children. Survivors, in addition to his widow, are three sons, Thomas, Doyle and Billy Bradshaw, all of Arkadelphia; six daughters, Mrs. Murrell Ware, Miss Jean Bradshaw and Miss Mary Jo Bradshaw, all of Arkadelphia, Mrs. Edward Nelson of Little Rock, Mrs. Jimmy Lambert of Bismarck and Mrs. Edward Whitson of Milton, Fla.; one brother, John Bradshaw of Arkadelphia; two sisters, Mrs. Sam Watters and Mrs. Jesse Johnson, both of Gurdon; and 12 grandchildren. The funeral was at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Murry-Ruggles Funeral Chapel and burial was in Richland Cemetery. (Arkadelphia Southern Standard, Jan. 9, 1965)
