Rowe, age 65, of near this city, died at 2:30 Friday morning after an illness of two weeks. She was born in this county on July 03, 1875, the daughter of the Rev. Sanford Pennington, pioneer Clark County Methodist Minister, and Mrs. Pennington. On April 19, 1896, at the age of 21, Miss Pennington was married to E.W. Rowe and lived her entire life near the place of her birth. She is survived by her husband, by four daughters, Mrs. M.A. Sloan, Mrs. Roy Houston and Miss Emma Faye Rowe , all of Arkadelphia, and Mrs. William Ehlert of New Orleans; by two sons, Austin Rowe of Arkadelphia, and Winfred Rowe of Tahoka, Texas; by two sisters, Mrs. Cliff Thompson and Mrs. Mary Cox, Arkadelphia, and by two brothers, D.J. and H.W. Pennington of Tahoka, Texas. Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday morning at the Mount Zion Church by the Rev. T.M. Armstrong, assisted by the Rev. John Gaither. Funeral arrangements were in charge of the Murry Funeral Home. ************************************************************************
