A lifelong resident of Clark County, she was a daughter of the late James and Margaret Wood Sloan, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Arkadelphia and the T.E.L. Sunday School Class. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. W.C. Ferguson of Memphis, Tenn. and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 08, in the Murry Ruggles Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lyndell Worthen officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Don Sloan, Jackie Dillion, William G. Webb, Jr., Tommy Joe Webb, Everyn Baumgardner, and Dr. James T. Wright. Honorary pallbearers were Harold Echols, Curtis Echols, L.C. Nichols, Earl Mathis, Brian Hollingshead, Harry Mackey, R.H. Patterson and Gordon Freeman.
