All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.shtml *********************************************************** Mrs. Betty (Tate) Jackson, age 70, of Quitman, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2005, at Beverly Health Care in Heber Springs. Born in Hughes, Arkansas, on October 16, 1934, she was the daughter of the late William L. and Willie Agnes (Russell) Tate. Betty was a nurse's aide and had been a resident of Cleburne County for most of her life. She was a member of the Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Her husband, Alvis F. Jackson, preceded her in death on December 3, 2002. Betty was a loving mother, grand-mother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by three sons, David Allen Jackson of Quitman, Robert Wayne (Bobby) Jackson of Jacksonville, and William Lane (Billy) Jackson of Bee Branch; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Betty is also survived by other relatives and a host of friends.Visitation will be held Friday, March 25, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the Olmstead Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 26, at 10:00 A.M. in the Palestine Baptist Church with Rev. Kerry Smith and Rev. Bill Ward officiating. Interment will follow in the Pearson Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc.
