Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the family home, conducted by the Rev. Elledge, pastor of the Fordyce Baptist church. Burial was in Kingsland cemetery. Mrs. Hammond had been a resident of Kingsland for 25 years and was a member of the Baptist church. Surviving, besides her husband, are three daughters, Mrs. D. J. Brown of Pine Bluff, Mrs. J. B. Jones and Miss Manola Hammond, of this place; three sons, Andrew, John Jr., and Howard Hammond, all of this place, one sister, Mrs. Luella Cox, of Little Rock, and her mother, Mrs. J.C. Roper, of Oakland, Calif.
